this company also has an identity problem, is it a copper and zinc play or is it gold and diamonds? LOL
As you know I hold some and one reason is a 'safer' way to get some diamond exposure.
Someone else (can't remember who at the moment) called it a 'mutual fund' :o)

regards
Kastel

Frank,

I think that there's a lot of value in SWG, but that it will consolidate and perhaps retrace for a while. I currently have no position in SWG, but will be glad to re-buy it once it is better "rested" and shows signs that it is ready to rise further. Meanwhile, I have other fresher horses. <g>

Just my opinion,

vt

Frank:

Your reasons for not holding SWG are all good ones --- which just goes to show that investments must fit your personal style and risk profile. However, I've decided that it fits in well in my pf, precisely because it's a play on several resources -- not just the pms. It has underperformed over the past year or so, but I remember it moving *very* fast to the upside a few years ago precisely because of it's lack of liquidity. So I'm fairly confident that it's a reasonably safe piece of my pf -- but meanwhile, if I'm patient, I think it has huge upside potential.

But they're all risky of course -- wherein lies the potential reward!

Best regards,
Howy
