Unfortunately, we don't have the Sharon of his youth, we have Sharon the elder statesman, who takes his orders from George Bush, instead of Moshe Dayan. If you think that Sharon's move into the West Bank wasn't drawn up in Washington, then you are more naive than your intellect would allow. Don't believe what you see and hear; believe that the US and Israel will be fighting the Arabs jointly, and they are clearing the roads to allow supply routes into Jordan and Lebanon to be out of harms way for the US Marines.
