Not only those "FREEDOM WORK" but it also helps make the world "SAFE FOR DEMOCRACY" and unsafe for everything else!

Do you delude yourself into imagine I spoke of a "race to globalization," and/or it's consequences? How can this be?

Yes, Ray, Reality Matters! That's why I've learned the freedom works. The impact of a tariff is global, affecting essentially all citizens around our country, many elsewhere too. It affects them all negatively, save the 140,000 in the short run, and to the extent that a self-sustained War Machine is a justified end we seek(assuming we achieve it). How about you, Ray? Do you seek a war machine at our ready? Well, oddly enough, I do.

Millions upon millions of people to consider, including the 140,000. Result? The "98%" win without tariffs. In the long run, the 140,000 will too. Trust me, this is an obvious sacrifice play.

I disagree, but I think the word you want is "platitude".

"Freedom works" is a euphemism worthy of the Thousand Year Reich. Pure propagandistic blather.
