Pete, speaking of dogs, I was pleased to see the owners of the dogs which killed a woman in an apartment building in San Francisco were found guilty of murder.

People who have dogs like that are not Peace, Light and Harmony types and they use their dogs to enjoy vicarious malevolence towards other people. I've seen enough people with vicious dogs and they are not embarrassed about their vicious dogs' aggression. They suppress a grin.

I would not be surprised if the dogs were set on the woman in the expectation that her death could be explained away and the thrill of murder enjoyed vicariously. Some people are paid up members of the axis of evil.

<...Jurors were clearly impressed by the more than 30 prosecution witnesses who recounted frightening incidents with the dogs. Ms. Knoller and Mr. Noel were taking care of them for Paul Schneider, a 39-year-old prison inmate whom they had represented and subsequently legally adopted. Correctional officials have said Mr. Schneider ran a breeding ring of attack dogs from inside Pelican Bay State Prison...>

These are seriously wacko criminal lawyers.

Let's hope owners of vicious dogs get a fright from the gaoling and put their horrible dogs on a short leash or have them killed.

Pete,

I was thinking about you the other day when it was blowing like mad in San Diego, very unusually windy for us.

I remember saying, "oh no, Pete's traps are going to be blown away."

Then again, judging by the recent posts, you must be in doors too much and the effects of cabin fever showing. <gggg>

Hi to Nancy.
