100 YEARS OF DEBT
TO THOSE WHO DO NOTHING

Wow! That piece could be a case study for any class on critical thinking. It's rich with examples and discussion points for the students to analyze.

1901 was clearly a golden year... when an engineer earned 2.5x what an accountant got ... :)

I agree with most of that, apart from the self-contradictory religious stance:
America never was a "Christian" nation, that would be a theocracy. We have always been a federal republic of representative government
vs
Without a Bible-based spirituality, there is no
relevant law and order, and we all become victims of our own sin nature.

Which is irrelevant, patently either meaningless or untrue (no law without the Bible?? or no law relevant to the Bible without the Bible... duh) and only incidentally illiterate.

Overall, fine.

Oh, which of 'lazy, stupid, crooked, disgusting, illiterate, soapless and tyrannical monarchies or banana republics' fits Switzerland, Finland, New Zealand or even Mauritius?
