the thing is dilfer has this killer receiver corps... darrel jackson is a standout and koren robinson has the potential to be even better... he's physically nearly equal to randy moss....

jackson has a knack for getting open... changing his routes on the fly when he spots openings in the d... dilfer seems to read this well... i'm telling ya man... those games dilfer had were like the best any qb ever had here... save for the 5-game win streak krieg had in '86 where they finished 10-6 but did not make the playoffs... it was just as well... after that streak they were out of gas from a personnel standpoint... secondary riddled with injuries...

but during that '86 streak their average score was something like 42-10 for each of the 5 games.

holmgren really needs a streak like that to make us forget knox... with the 'new' rotational system in the defensive line, they might just do it...

use 6-8 linemen and keep whoever is on the field, fresh. many teams have done this... it's about intensity!
