Ok, lets see about msft returning to it's peak growth rates again as you seem to think it will.

Tell me what were the peak earnings and revenue growth rates for msft when it was a smaller company and we'll plug in some numbers and see if that's possible again.

Sure, I've erred in the market. No one has invested and never gotten burned, but I pay attention to valuation and hold mostly for the very long term. Only when the market went crazy did I sell my techs. Almost everything I've owned was sold for a profit, but yes there were a few that I took a loss on.
