I think Onishka's Google translation nails it:

"The new upward motion stands on wackligen legs."

How true. I believe we'll see that proven before the day is done.

Juergen. . . thanks again for posting Onishka

Zeev actually has a good point: He thinks the fuel in April will be a (the) historical liquidity push, combined with companies meeting/beating lowered expecatations ("the turn is HERE!")..

Combine that with a couple simply silly, but useful Wall Street tricks (like this absurd AMAT split....I mean, REALLY)...and I can see the brokers pants itching now..."Mrs. Jones, its time to get out of cash....stocks are splitting, the economy is turning, and companies are beating earning expectations...its 1982 all over again...you want me to tell you what happened after that Mrs. Jones"..squeezing the last bit of sideline cash in..

Combine THAT with the short-covering you mentioned, and ka-plooey (up)

Having written this, we all know you got look at the day-by-day, and if we can't hold key support levels near-term, the whole argument changes here....I think one first key is 1466 NDX today
