I include the ST profits in the LT cost basis average. By taking profits on very ST trades during the last 4 months just like I did the last 2 days. When you average those profits in the cost basis of the LT shares I end up with an average of low 3s.

How is it possible for a cost basis to drop into the low 3's when the all time low is $4.10?

Basis could come from T or ASND or something like that. It's only possible when you are a *long* term holder. Some of my LU shares go back to stock purchased in '94 (from options granted in '90).
