It's meant to be extremely stupid. Hence the debate on the airspeed of different swallows (especially when laden)... I can see that occurring on SI, actually...
I mean, who can take the 'Lancelot at the wedding' sketch seriously? Or the Black Knight? "Come back, you coward! I'll bite yer legs off!"
