AES' Fifoots Power Plant Suspended From UK Power Trade

LONDON -(Dow Jones)- The U.K. panel that administers electricity trading
rules has suspended, AES Corp. (NYSE: AES - news) (AES) unit AES
Fifoots Point Ltd. power station from trade as of Mar. 23 because the
company was in credit default, said an industry source.

The panel convened an emergency meeting late Thursday and decided to
nullify all contracts agreed before Mar. 23 , and that the company wouldn't be
allowed to trade beyond that time.
