Len, on seconds thoughts. As you seem to me to be quite a scholar on that subject, and as you aspire to moral integrity too, could you please check the surats he is quoting and give your take if they are accurate, misplaced invented; etc ? Thanks in advance. As for my opinion, since you may ask it in return : if this paper is true, then we have a real problem, The civilization clash bit, which, anyway, I think is in the works. With lots of time to run and only some extend to live, though.

In times of stress, humans like to cling to a faith. If we humans collectively make life for the whole of humanity better, the fervor that some bring to their lives through an angry faith will dissipate. As I stated previously, Christianity and Judaism has the same component in their literature. We in the West have transcended that phase, we need to help others transcend theirs. What else does a guy like Mr. Reid have? The entry fee to faith is low. No one else wants a loser like him, except G-d or so reads the text.
