Like you said, you need to be telling that to your fellow longs, not I. ;-)

It is interesting to see that Hammer has slipped even this much, given that it is largely based off of the Athlon core. I don't recall the K7 team slipping this much; in fact, they actually released their product within two months of their originally stated goal of June 1999. That's phenomenal, especially for a brand new core designed from scratch.

I'm saying this not to dis' Hammer, but to remind people not to expect a repeat of the "Miracle on Silicon" that was Athlon.
