Could be, it would be a great buying point at 1700 according to my model. But, it is possible we won't retest that level. Today's market....

is quite similar according to my model to March 1999 and January 1995.......

In both cases after a down market the market recovered and stochastic peaked, then corrected, then began moving up past 50. From that point forward in both 1995 and 1999, the market did very well during the next year and left those behind who waited for retests of lows......

Most here will likely agree with you, but it is possible we won't see 1700, so be ready to pull the trigger if we start heading higher!

GS, remember your post of 3/22 I am responding to? You said you thought the Nasdaz needed to retest 1700. Looks like a good call to me as my model has now moved to a very bullish 110% invested position effective on tommorrow's open. I wouldn't be surprised to see a further drop for a few more days, but we should be close to a rally.

Below are the model's buys and sells for this year. Each call has been and will be posted on this thread for other timers to comment on (or poke fun at):

CB Model 2002: Ytd model is up 4% versus qqq down 18%.

- January 2nd: buy qqq at open 39.57......$100,000 in qqq.
- January 4: sell qqq at open 41.95.......$106,005 in cash.
- January 7: short 25% of account at open 42.11......$79,504 cash, $26,491 short qqq.
- February 7: buy back qqq short at $36.00......$109,829 in cash.
- February 20: go 50% long, buy qqq at 34.9......$54,904 in qqq, 54,915 in cash.
- February 22: go to 100% long at open, buy qqq at 33.61.....$107,780 in qqq.
- Going to 110% long in the morning.
