Baruch Goldstein was a single extremist, who committed a single mass shooting. His followers alone praised him, while 99% of Israelis reacted with horror. Every Israeli media outlet and politician condemned him in Hebrew and English. On the Arab side, you have a new Baruch Goldstein style murderer (at least an attempt) every single day. And every single day, the murderers are praised as holy shahids (martyrs) in the Voice of Palestine and Al Hayat al Jadida, and every other Palestinian media outlet, Palestinians dance in the street at the news of every successful attack, every Arab country's (government-controlled) papers echo the praise, and Saddam Hussein pays the murderer's family $10,000. An oh yes, Arafat "condemns" the terror, in English only, for the benefit of the State Department. Even you point out that the Israeli government shut down Goldstein's grave. The PA, on the other hand, has lots of shrines to its "martyrs" and doesn't shut any of them down. Bir Zeit University even put on a suicide-bombing exhibit, complete with fake human limbs. If the Israelis had 1% of the desire to kill Arabs that the Arabs have to kill the Israelis, we would see much higher casualty rates. If the Israelis had decided to deal with Ramallah as the Russians dealth with Grozny, who could have stopped them?
