Anyone have rumor quality hearsay on EMC? Don't have any rumors. I do know storage is getting real competitive. EMC is having trouble. Wouldn't be surprised to hear anything negative on them now. BirdDog@Prairie.com

The calls are very active from briefing: 11:22 ET EMC EMC Corp rumor (11.96 +0.72) We are hearing Street talk that EMC has closed a few large deals within the last week that should allay some concerns that their revs are lagging the consensus view. 13:25 ET EMC EMC Corp: mixed interpretations of deal rumor (11.61 +0.37) -- Update -- Hearing mixed interpretations of the rumor that EMC has closed several new deals. While some are framing it as a positive, we are hearing that EMC's qtr is still in doubt and the new deals would simply get the co closer to consensus.
