DH: Yes but the irony is that the employees at AOL who were mandated to use AOL mail wound up carrying messages from office to office because the system crashed so often. It was a standing joke at AOl. Now here they are complaining about MSFT taking over the world and they continue to voluntarily (against their base instincts) use MSFT products whether it be IE or Outlook or whatever. I cannot stomach this having it both ways crap. JFD

DH: Not a pretty close on Friday on top of a very undistinguished performance throughout the day. I cannot believe sophisticated $ mgrs. wringing their hands over valuations and balance sheets not scooping this "monopoly" up at these prices. As you and I have pointed out its PE when $7 in cash per share factored out is in mid 20's based on projected earnings. No one in their right mind can say that this remedy phase is going badly. I just can't understand this media bias both secular and financial - I believe it is the one significant reason for the poor stock performance. I mean every article you read has this disgusting bias and much of it is just pure FUD. MSFT does a poor job of schmoozing the press unless it is their intention to keep the price low while they get their options all ironed out. I am just amazed at the lousy performance of this stock and I am a very long time holder.JFD
