Yes NUFO looks to be trimming industrial overhead to become profitable asap. I don't know the value of their intellectual capital, but they say they want to leverage it into the next cycle of capital spending. AVCI had lousy obv, CORV still looks ill, will look at MRVC.. I think what were seeing is very early money betting there may be a faster pickup.. or it could just be nothing at all. I was also looking at TELM, VTSS, and DIGL today.. the lightwave index was up, and networking index is double bottoming with some buying interest.,

Hi Harry:

You know we may (may) be reaching a point with the networkers similar to last year around this time (actually around May/June of 2001) witha the semi's. Remember when Jonathan Joseph of SSB came out on the semis with the recomendation it was time to start getting back with his reason being it couldn't get any worse. We'll fundamentally it did get worse but for stock prices that was a good entry point.

On the networkers like CSCO, JNPR we may be reaching that point. Hasn't both INTC and MU indicated firming in the corporate market (I didn't say growth but a firming with seeing some orders). I still won't rule out one more vomitt since valuations and sentiment are out of wack.

JNPR so far has a good double bottom @ 9 but CSCO needs to retest the 11 area.

CORV's problems start with Q & Williams in trouble (2 of its 3 customers) and the acquisition which means an increase in burn. Huber was buying @ $1.8 when this was the cash level but if carriers are still holding off till 2003 then CORV may not see the turn till later. From memory they didn't expect to be profitable till 2004 and this was b/4 the acquisition. Now maybe this is pushed out.
