Hi Wayne, Yes, Europe suffered greatly in the two World Wars, but America suffered also with great loss of life, and sacrificed much to help give Europe her freedom.... Otherwise, German might have been the universal language for the EU these days, and who knows, you might have even been speaking it in Scotland.... Great Scott! <g>
