The UK just did a an auction for fixed broadband in September 2001 at the 28 GHZ range.

radio.gov.uk

The door is open there for CDMA 1XEV DO.

The UK does public fixed wireless access at 3.4 GHZ and 10 GHZ. Is this the same spectrum referred to as WDC? I think LLDS spectrum is at the 2.8 GHZ level. It doesn't matter what the name, CDMA 1XEV DO can be used in any of this spectrum for fixed or mobile (if permitted).
