Are you trying to run one of the standard windows screensavers or one you downloaded? Have you tried more than one of them and encountered the same problem?

Eagle,

If you have not been doing a full shut down (power off) try it. I think I have found one or two things that do not become permanent it you just do a warm restart. Sound level seems to behave this way.
