Constantine, a friend of mine did that but he bought the very 1st Athlon MP 1Ghz. Now, the difference in price between that and the 1500+ is negligible so I'm wondering if he can just buy the 1500+ and everything should work. He has the Tyan Board ( the tiger 2460 I think ). I think it should work. He may want to look at the Tyan manual. One thing I am wondering about is the voltage. Are there really 2 independent voltage regulators? What happens if 1 CPU requests, say .175V and the 2nd one requests 1.6V. Joe
