Along with a huge helping hand from Ross Perot, I believe the American voting public had the same reason for voting Pres Clinton into office after 12 yrs of Reagan/Bush. My favorite Churchill story is the one when he had Lady Astor as a dinner partner & she noticed he was drowning his thirst one glass after the other.....she said "Sir, you are drunk!".....he replied...."and madam, you are ugly......but I will be sober in the morning."
