Mary is a Republican princess, Ann ...

...high maintenance requires big bucks, you see.

Principles/shminciples.

She's on-air talent. Has a reputation -g- to enhance. She reminds me a great deal of Arianna Huffington.

I also see her as an aging Julia Roberts. Julia, you recall, married on a whim, evidently, the homely Lyle Lovett. She, however, was in her early 20s. And I don't think she needed the power and money. In other words, she went for 'love,' rather than power in choosing 'her man.' Very unlike Mary Matelin.

Hey! James had the power = money = connections she needed ... so WTF.

The point was that it grabbed the eager imaginations of the american public (those lower case legions) so thirsty for personal information about their famous brethren through whom they seek to live vicariously.

Good ole Mary knows quite well how to 'make news.'

That's my observation.

LOL.
