Justa, the 13-day EMA crossover does whipsaw a bit, so I prefer to use the 20-day. For example, the 13-day was crossed in late April 2001, which would have been a bit premature. The 20-day crossed in late May, which proved to be the correct timing. I think we need to wait for the 20-day EMA crossover for confirmation, but the 13-day puts us on notice to be on the cautious side. Note the 13-day was also crossed in early November, but the 20-day was only touched, not crossed.
