"Baksheesh" is a favour or gift, usually in the form of money, (a tip; also a "bribe"), in some some near Eastern countries. I have heard it used in Northern India.

I don't really know what baksheesh is as I don't speak the language, but while we are on the subject, can you spare a fifty? I have run out of wives and old cars to sell, and my arm is aching.
