I think all we have is "northern light" up here... (o:

Just kidding. I usually like to work under the shade of the maple tree on the front lawn. It is an even and diffuse light that makes it easy on my eyes to work for hours.

I don't know if I want to motivate you to go and work on clay if it's a nice day out. I'd rather motivate you to get outdoors to enjoy some of it doing some outside thing. It warmed up here, but the wind is still quite strong and cold. Have to admit that I really am getting restless and want to be out in the forests or on the river in the worst way. Soon, Croc...soon.

I suppose I should post this on the Gardening thread, but heck.. it has plenty to do with this thread too, so why not put it here.

Went and got some seeds today..just from a local nursery. Not my usual M.O., but I'm a little short on time this year and the weeks seem to be flying by, so these will have to do.

Nothing particularly out of the ordinary I suppose. I did get some bok choy seeds as there is just about nothing that I love more than nice young bok choy in my stir fry! Also got a good assortment of greens. Couple of kinds of small hot peppers.. well, like I said, nothing extraordinary this year. Also got some flower seeds to start. I like to grow some cosmos (seashell variety) and larkspur in amongst the perennials and roses.. Looking forward to gardening... more than you might even imagine.
