people confuse people and arguments all the time on SI
that is usually what drives the name calling

Strange how those words seem to have caught so many eyes... why could that be? <g>

It might be partly because when fewer convictions are held, or more views are held in common or no longer subject to dispute (e.g., no more Marxism), those opinions that are professed have more personal meaning.
