Not necessarily. For those that don't, maybe they can't, maybe they won't. Of those who won't, some have different ideas about this place and its purpose. Some are drawn to the squabbles as entertainment, like Sally Jessie 24/7. Perhaps in another venue they can...and do.

I remember when we were taught to argue both sides of an issue, that it was intellectually strengthening to to argue something you didn't agree with and a matter of pride to have skill in doing it. Perhaps they don't teach that any more. If you grow up with that, it's easier to separate the argument from the person.
