Iran. A massive US military presence on Iran's eastern and western borders presents unenviable problems for the Imam-ocrasy.

Seymour Hersh's piece in the New Yorker detailed Iran's extensive nuclear weapons program, something Israeli intelligence has been explaining to Washington for some time.

Precisely why I've been wondering about the real motives behind all this talk about Iraq. Just a diversion ? Or staging for the real goals.

There will be hell to pay if/when the day comes that one of these theocracies obtains their nuclear weapons. Pakistan and India seem to be first a danger to each other (I don't know how grateful we should be for this), but this is not the case with countries like Iran.
