Does anybody know where MS SQL server earnings come from? As far as I understand, most MS SQL server installations don't compete with Oracle, but with other database technologies like MS Access, Interbase, FlashFiler, dBase files (not the program), MySQL. I personally know a lot of MS SQL Servers that replaced Access on a network file server. I don't there are that many high-end MS-SQL installation that Oracle 9i really can hurt Microsoft.
