There is one cherry orchard left in Mountain View. All are gone in Sunnyvale. When I first got here, when you crossed El Camino on Mathilda they started and ran for 10 miles to a little town called Cupertino, then another ten miles of orchards to a little town called Saratoga. All pavement and houses now. We paved over some of the best agricultural land in the world. Weep!
