" That's the best time" You're right about that. It's so much more exciting and everyone is working hard to help the success along. After the companies get larger..........all the politics start and a ton of rules begin to get enforced. I enjoy the free spirited and creative "roll up your sleeves and let's get this job done" challenge of startups. You get to play "jack of all trades" as there are not distinct departments separated out of the personnel. Although many biotech startups don't make it. For a while, some of the venture capitalists were calling biotechs .........bioscam!!!! There was an era when biotech was somewhat like the recent internet bubble runup we experienced. Many crashed and burned.
