Joseph.."many vets would disagree with your assessment of how they were treated." You misunderstand. I know our military were treated like dirt. They were spit upon, vilified. As a result, they could not wear their uniforms home. It was nuts and inexcusable that after honorably serving their country in the most brutal and horrific of conditions, they were treated so despicably when they returned. I merely meant I was not among the people betraying those who served during that unpopular war. NOt then, not now. A terrible injustice was done those men.
