Wonderful Thread! Thank you for 26348 great helpful hints!!
I have a problem with my wife's Logitech MouseMan Wheel. Sometimes it is fine, very smooth, but most of the time it is very jumpy, and just doesn't track well. The puter is Dell XPS T500, lots of memory (256) and we have done the following to try to fix the problem:
Cleaned the mouse,
Changed the mouse pad,
Exchanged the mouse with identical mouse from my machine. (My wife and I have the exact same Dells),
Downloaded the latest drivers (I think) from Logitech site,
Reset Control Panel/Mouse/Device setup/ etc

None of the above has helped. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

TIA, GilS
