I looked at checkpoint when I bought symc but at the time the valuation in symc was so ridiculously low because of the previous management's lack of credibility, I just had to buy the shares.

Now that chkp has come down it's much more reasonable, but they have unsustainably high margins. Combine that with worry over Csco eating into their business and you got a stock under pressure. I'm looking into buying it, but haven't nibbled so far.

I had thought of buying beas as well, but I have a few concerns about IBM trying to muscle in on their business.

We'll have to agree to disagree on the ability of msft to return to it's old growth rates. I think their market cap is too big to support it, although I do think once the trial is over, bottom line can improve due to less costs on the legal front.

I trade in and out of sebl because I just don't like the ceo's pissing contest with orcl and his comments on the economy and stock market. He's flips from sizzling hot to ice cold and I prefer someone more "calm". Despite this, I can't argue with their performance and how well they are positioned. It's just a personal "feeling" that prevents me from owning it long term which is really my preference as long as valuations don't become too stretched.

Hope you looked into Merq while it was down. Going to new highs in a few years.
