enigma;

Robert, If you think the oceans will provide all of the oxygen this world will ever need, then you are quite short sighted. Does the algae absorb the pollution in the air caused by all the industrial, auto, and others that pollute the air every day?? No, but trees do.

No, i`m not short sighted at all. It is a fact. All the pollution in the air is collected and taken out of the air by rain. It then drains back into the oceans. Pure h20 is then evaperated back into rain and the cycle starts again.

Not all the Earth was covered by ice during the ice age, and there were many trees to be found in many parts of the planet at that time

Very true, but about half of the worlds land mass that is now producing trees was under a mile of ice. That alone destroys the we need every tree oyxgen theory.

Another thing you seem to have overlooked. What was the population of animals, and humans, on the Earth at that time?? How many pollutants were being sent aloft?? Comparing the ice age to today, is like comparing a planet to a pebble.

Ah, the old population of humans line. Today there is 2 tons of insect life for every human on the planet.

Its the them damn buggs using all our oyxgen..lol..
