Max and Others-- I sincerely apologize to anyone I may have offended using my former alias "shekinah"! Zeev suggested that I might change it and I complied as I read this "humble abode" as often as I'm able. This thread provides an excellent view of the market, however the view does change and the astute investor will change accordingly. Great market insight here!1! Jumped on JNPR here with this call,

Hi Max, Here's one I call the Absolute Idiot -

aim-users.com

Average value for the IW is 41 from 1982 to today. The Abs. IW is the sum of the differences between the weekly values and the LT average value. So, if, like last week, we have a reading of 54, we add 13 to the abs. IW value.

The main thing to see in this graph is the huge rise from 1997 to 2000. Also of interest is that it didn't fall very far for the first year after the peak and the rather slow fall-off in value since. Recently it's been struggling to stay low as periodic higher risk levels tend to push it upwards.

Best regards, Tom
