Tom - I'm as rabid a MD fan as there is (which means I expect them to find some way to fall short), but I don't think UConn can beat them unless Blake has another terrible game AND UConn is at their best. I was at the MCI Center last week, and UConn looked like a Terps team of years past. They have some great players, but they're less experienced and could very well have lost to NCState.
It's a team like Indiana or Oklahoma, with their great 3 point abilities, that could give them fits if they're not playing at the top of their game.

I was sort of happy Butler didn't play well against SIU as this makes him due for a big game against Maryland. UConn's problem is they seem to play to the level of their opponents which means the never seem to put teams away but just hang on to win. Either they'll get blown away by Maryland or win in the last seconds. Considering they'll likely have to face Kansas and then Oklahoma to become national champions, I'm not optimistic but rather happy they've gotten this far. If you are a Maryland fan, however, I'd think anything sort of a national championship would be a disappointment. That's how I felt about UConn the year they won it.
