Looking at all the weaknesses of Israel and Palestinians and even their allies, the weakest and most vital issue is leadership for the Palestinians. Arafat does not speak for all.....and never will.. without a viable consensus of leadership the Palestinians are their worst enemies, pawns......and sheep for the slaughter......mostly because their Arab brethren really do not care about their welfare but about their political value to deflect attention from their corrupt regimes.

It took a lot of hard work for the founding fathers of this country to gain consensus and speak with at least the appearance of one voice. If they hadn't hung together they surely would have hung separately.

I wish them well and hope they find a leader who is trustworthy. Militant militia like Hamas and Hezbollah make this a daunting task as their goals are the antithesis of the average man or woman of Palestinian heritage.
