I'm interested in MMM, as well as GE and the other megas. I know quite a bit about MMM through a client relationship ... I don't know anything about their accounting/financial operations. They were big movers into globalization long ago with subsidiaries in 52 countries. I would like to see the SEC require much more reporting/disclosure about such 'items' as offshore accounts. I want to know what offshore accounts GE has, for example. Who has 'em, how, why, etc ... Oh, yes, we all know it's 'legal.' But that certainly doesn't mean any of us 'should' 'invest' our money in them. Nor for those employed, their forced participation in the 401K. bia
