In watching the first half, one gets the impression that Maryland is a little bigger, a little faster and a little stronger than UConn. That three-pointer as the half ended has all the earmarks of a back-breaker. We'll see. I had picked the Terps to beat UConn, but I wasn't expecting UConn to be as close as they are. Let the second half begin...

Tom, darn, you figured out my strategy... (g)

Jeff even choose Maryland to win today in his SI pool entry and he correctly predicted this match up. Ohhh...ummmm... Ohh sh_t, given Jeff's predictive abilities in this contest, I have cause to worry.

Well Tom, now's the time to start calling Atlanta and scrounging for tickets...

This is sort of funny... The left side of my bracket is a total loss, and the right side is almost perfect back to the original 64 teams. I have Kansas over Maryland in the Final Four, but regardless of which team actually wins, Maryland and Kansas are probably the best two teams in the country.
