Very well-put and defined, Hawk. Such facts are not convenient to the Arabs who long to be the new Nazis in their malevolent intents to Israel's Jews, but they are quite real.

That was very well said... Re: Golan Heights, I believe it's fairly strategic since you don't want an enemy up there raining missiles and mortars down on your territories below. This is a remark my mom made to me after she'd toured much of the region (Israel, Egypt, etc) with her church group. Happily they got their tour in well before all this latest Intifada hit the fan.

Nice way to phrase it, but the straight number is 6% of the land was purchased, the remainder was a freebie. "And while the Israeli Arab community obviously aren't particularly priviledged within the Jewish, they certainly have rights that Jews living in Arab nations do not possess." I agree, they should have equal rights. Perhaps when the Israelis stop occupying Arab lands, then there may be some adjuctment all round. If the European Jews neither possessed a significant amount o wealth, where do the claims about stolen artwork, real estate, and cash come from? Your statements do not jibe with the claims against Nazi thievery. "After all, why would oriental Jews offer money so that every kind of Jew EXCEPT those living in Arab populated land, could emigrate to Palestine??" Good point, maybe the Arab Jews left voluntarily and were not kicked out. They were pre-disposed to be leaving, so on their way out they made noises and claimed their property was ripped-off? "When Muslims first conquered Palestine, they sought to colonize that land in the name of their religion, Islam, and their Koranic stories.. And they have been trying to do this since at least 1922 with the founding of the Moslem Brotherhood." Palestine, there was no such place as Palestine, remember? The majority culture there was Arab; Christian, and Moslem and a minority culture of Jews. They did not need Koranic stories to take land in the same manner as a European or American person claiming land from 100 generations ago, based on Bible stories that may or may not be factual. "So the British gave Abdullah the territory that is now Jordan, as well as the Palestinian population living there.... That's what I call unjustifiable." Maybe it is unjustifiable, are the indigenous people complaining about that portion?
