<<I've never tried those brands. I always read the fat grams on packages, and I'll bet if they're good they have a lot of those. >>

Some of them do. If you eat them you have to get off your butt and on your feet and gets them feets to moving. Same with good home cooked meals. I just read where eggs make your cholesterol numbers better.

<<Don't you have a genetic blessing having to do with cholesterol?>>

I did have a test back in '93 which showed I had about a year to live due to cholesterol. 6 months later I had another test that showed everything was fine with no changes in my lifestyle or diet. I'm thinking some poor bastard went home feeling fine with my numbers and died.

BTW, I view hamburger as a veggie.

E, I have elevated cholesterol. I've been taking Lipitor for years, which brings it down to a tolerable level. Last year I had an angiogram and they found not a scintilla of plaque in my arteries. So I asked the doctors why it mattered if my cholesterol was high if it wasn't sticking to my arteries. They said, "good question" but didn't have an answer. Duh. Just last week I talked them into stopping the Lipitor, but I have to go back in a couple of months and get my blood tested again. Maybe they'll figure it out by then. Or maybe I'm whistling past the graveyard.
