To hunt waterfowl you have to sign in on the Federal Kill Register. Sign in your name and address and sign out how many of what kind of ducks you killed. The feds keep track of how many hunter days and how many ducks are killed in order to set limits the next year. <<Even though your violation is mysterious to me.>> I didn't sign in but had a gun in the blind. I did break the law. <<What did the federal warden say? "Say what?"? >> Eyep. I even offered to sign a confession. To me it was how could I keep my people obeying the law to the letter if I didn't.
