SIer, have tried uninstalling and reinstalling....no improvement. Will let you know how I make out at the Support site.

SIer: Thanks for the Uninstall/reinstall advice.(Re: erratic mouse behavior) Did that, and not much help. Finally decided to call DELL. Reason we went with DELL was because of their great support, so might as well take advantage of it.

Bottom line...support had me uninstall and reinstall, AND went through startup (on boot) list and deleted about half of the programs that were checked. TA! DA! Now don't know if the reason the mouse was acting erratic was because of mouse software, or because of some conflict. Really don't care at this point, but most likely was conflict.

Thanks to all for suggestions, and for great info all the time.
