Hi ild, I am not happy with my own answer, but here it goes:

OTOH, starting now, as property deals are beginning to stir from Thailand to Hong Kong and on up to China, thus all requiring USD repatriation ...

but OTOH, the FED can fight some more, and then there is the WAT and what not, along with Korea-after-Iraq scare, plus PRC social unrest and such, requiring money to pacify, but also tending to scare the money back into US heartland.

At the end of day, the US may be fully integrated into the Russian oil dollar recycling scheme, and the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan trade surplus dollar recycling scheme.
