I think there is a marked difference between being killed for confessing a faith in Jesus or anyone else

and

someone strapping on a bomb and purposefully blowing onself and others to smithereens in the name of their God.

The latter is quite silly if you think about it as having any chance to "extend" the perpetrators faith in any meaningful way, IMO.
