I stayed up, but didn't watch the Academy Awards. Never gave it even momentary consideration. I read a couple of reviews on the show this morning and, er, shall we say, they didn't like the show. I think ya gotta like that stuff to enjoy it. It also helps, I suppose, if you've seen any of the movies.

Re the historic aspect, I'm finding myself more than a bit turned off by the fuss. Halle Berry won that award, presumably because she was very, very good in the role, not Dorothy Dandridge.

Change of subject.

If you have CNN on this morning, maybe you saw the interview with the author of this piece on Iraq and the war. I found it interesting.
