wbmw, more anticipation of P4 2.4 GHz, article by Mike Magee:

And it's also interesting to note that Intel is already making moves to substitute the 256K cache Pentium 4 processors with the better performing 512K cache CPUs, as it prepares to launch a 2.4GHz Pentium 4.

He implies lower AMD prices also. Beginning to be pretty dicey for them to make any 0.13 launch in Q1, which could have helped their Q1 ASPs, revs, etc. Q1 ends Friday. Four days to go. Can AMD pull it out in the bottom of the ninth?

Although distributors say that AMD officially cuts its prices on the 14th of April next, the reality is that the AMD prices below are already being applied in anticipation of the move.

"By the way, you did an outstanding job reading the values for standby current from the left side-bar on that graph. They were nearly invisible for me."

Stripping off chart axis values implies that they are
hiding something. Why hide it if it is good?

Are you hinting that the sale is not linear but
logarithmic? Wow!
